Trail Report

1-22-11 The Majestic Valley 20K Trail System is open for cross country skiing. The trails are in fair condition: the 6 K loop is open and groomed for skate skiing; tracks have not been set yet. One inch of snow fell this week. The outer trails to Ptarmigan and Moose point have not been groomed yet as more snow is needed.  There is a 2 foot base. Trails are groomed almost every Friday or Saturday, but call 746-2930 or email info@majesticvalleylodge.com to find the most up-to-date information. Trail signs and maps make finding your way through the various loops much easier. The temperature has warmed up to 20 degrees with no wind today. Check in at the log lodge to get your ski map and tips for the trails.
